The speech

As I make my appearance in front of the crowd I assure them that they may trust in his honor. I did not kill Caesar out of a lack of love for him, but because his love for Rome outweighed his love of a single man. I insist that Caesar was great but ambitious. It was for this reason tha we slew him. I feared that the Romans would live as slaves under Caesar’s leadership. Does anyone disagree with me. I conclude that I have offended no one and assert that now Caesar’s death has been accounted for, with both his virtues and faults in life given attention. Antony then enters with Caesar’s body. I explain to the crowd that Antony had no part in the conspiracy but that he will now be part of the new commonwealth. After my speech the plebians declare that I should become the new Caesar. I quiet them and ask them to listen to Antony.  After listening to Antony's speech the Romans turned on me and I fled from Rome. After we fled I have a lot of concern what would happen to us if we were to return to Rome.

Aftermath

As I talk to anthony I tell him are motive for killing his beloved friend was for the sympathy and love for the Roman citizens. I agree to allow Antony to have a funeral for Julius Caesar. Cassius objects because he feels Antony will turn the citizens on us. I reply by saying that I will preface Antony’s words, explaining to the public the reason why we killed Caesar, and then explain that Antony has been allowed to speak only by my consent.

Caesar's death

As we enter the senate I have alot on my mind. I have a feeling that the assassination plot has been discovered by Trebonius. As we kneel before Caesar he says he will not change his mind now he sees himself as "constant as the Northern Star." Also, he says that they might as well hope to "lift up Olympus,” the mountain where the gods were believed to dwell. Which shows how ambitious he was and why I am gunna take him out. As the rest kneel Casca stabs him first, and the others follow, then I stabbed him last. After I tell the conspirators that they have acted as friends to Caesar by shortening the time that he would have spent fearing death. I tell them to bend down and bathe their hands in Caesar’s blood, then walk to the marketplace with their bloodied swords to proclaim peace, freedom, and liberty.

My love portia

Portia my love why ar you awake at this hour. It's not healthy for you to be out here. Portia do not kneel. You are my true wife, as precious to me as the warm blood that flows through my heart. Portia its time for you to go back to bed. I wonder what would happen if things went wrong. If the plan was to go bad and I was to die what would happen to my beautiful wife. I promised I would talk to her later but I don't know if theres gunna be a later. I think of my child that is on its way. I hope all goes well so I can see my child live and give the love that my lovely wife deserves.

Conspirators conspiracy

I'm up because I suffer from insomnia. Everyone give me your hands one by one. No, this is not an oath. This is a commitment to honorably promise one another that we will get rich or die trying. Oaths are for priest and cowards, and overly cautious men who are looking for trouble. Brutus it's not proper for Marc Antony to outlive Caesar so we should take them out together. I don't think its proper to kill Caesar out of anger then kill Antony for hatred. Marc Antony is only a part of Caesar. Let the Romans see us as sacrificers, but not butchers. Antony is no worries for me he is only as dangerous as Caesar's arm could do as if Caesar's head were cut off.

Brutus in his orchard

Hey yo lucius come here. Caesar's death is the only way but I don't have any personal reason to rebel against but only for the public welfare. If hes crowned his character will change and I don't like the way he is already. I feel if we give him the crown he will abuse his greatness. Once he reaches power he will climb to success faster than expected and stomp on everyone below him.

Convo with Casca

Casca tell me what happened today at the senate. The crown was offered to him three times. Your telling me Antony offered him the crown three times then denied it everytime then fainted. Mhm seems like he is suffering from the falling sickness. Caesar is too ambitious. He wants to be seen as a humble person. I can not stand him he thinks to great of himself.
